The Avalon Team's R&D department has been working steadily on getting our short run card game division up and running. We have secured am actual playing card stock that works with our digital machines. What's the difference between a playing card stock compared to a regular card stock? Playing card stock has a clay coating that improves the flexibility and bounce of the stock, We have also secured a coating for the cards in both a gloss and matte finish.
But it seems our issues with trying to secure a cutting system for the cards is never ending. We've made the decision to wait till we attend Graph Expo in October before we make our final decision on how to proceed.
We are still doing some cards for our clients. Our business card size cards are working very well. And we can still the
guillotine
cutter on any other cards, but this is not always as accurate as other methods.
